COMMISSION MEETINGS AND HEARINGS
On February 4, the Commission held an executive session.

AOR 2013-18 (Revolution Messaging, LLC). On February 4, the Commission made public a supplement to Advisory Opinion Request 2013-18 from Revolution Messaging. The requestor asks whether the proposed mobile phone banner advertisements are exempt from the disclaimer requirement of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended.

The Commission made public three campaign finance enforcement matters that were resolved through its Administrative Fines (AF) program, as follows. For more information, see the case documents in the Enforcement Query System.
AF 2686 – Trust Women PAC and Tiffany Reynolds-Richardson, in her official capacity as treasurer. The Commission made a final determination and assessed a civil penalty of $3,712.
AF 2760 – Oklahoma Leadership Council and Anthony J. Ferate, in his official capacity as treasurer. The Commission made a final determination and assessed a civil penalty of $320.
AF 2764 – Jesse Young for US Congress and Jan Brainard, in her official capacity as treasurer. The Commission made a final determination and assessed a civil penalty of $3,520.
Libertarian National Committee, Inc. v. FEC (Case 13-5094). On February 7, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit issued a Per Curiam Order, granting the Commission’s motion for summary affirmance.
On February 5, Chairman Lee Goodman met with a multinational group of civic, political, and governmental leaders to discuss transparency and accountability as they apply to the work of the Commission as part of the State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program.
